Goji Berries or wolfberries are a bright red berry that is native to China and long been thought to prolong life. These berries have now been dubbed a “superfood”. They are thought to help everything from high blood pressure, diabetes, fever, cancer preventative and even slow the aging process. This is thought to be on account that they are high in antioxidants and contain rich vitamin compounds. This is something common amongst most berries.


  • 1 1/2 cups baked sweet potatoes
  • 4 tbsp dried goji berries
  • 3 tsp walnut and or pecan nuts
  • 4 tsp raisins
  • 1 tbsp ground cloves
  • 2 tbsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp ginger
  • 1 tbsp nutmeg or all spice (optional)
  • 2 large dates or 4 -6 small dates (until sweetened to desired taste) or 2 Tbsp pure maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp of organic vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup almond milk, or other milk alternative
  •  2 tsp flax seed


  1. Take baked sweet potatoes and all other ingredients and mix in a blender, food processor or mash by hand
  2. Place in oven safe bowls and bake for 30 to 40 minutes at 375 degrees
  3. Let cool for 30 to 40 minutes and then sprinkle any optional additional ingredients on top

Additional Optional Ingredients:

  • raw pumpkin seeds or sunflower seeds
  • sea salt
  • sprinkled dried goji berries on top
  • vanilla bean
