Sick of plain of white mashed potatoes? This recipe will bring your taste buds back to life. It is a much healthier alternative to mashed potatoes smothered in butter. You can also add some extra flavour by adding more of the suggested spices.
This recipe contains nutritional yeast. Nutritional yeast has a yummy, almost a savoury, meaty, cheesy and hearty taste and is a great source of vitamin B12. It’s perfect for those on a vegan diet. Nutritional yeast is not the same type that is used in baking or in beer making. It will not make your cookies or baking rise in the oven so don’t try that. It’s also gluten free, low in fat and can be added to enhance the flavour of many other foods such as salad dressings, roasted vegetables, gravies or pasta. There are many other uses for nutritional yeast and you can read about them  here.
