If you are having a brownie craving and are looking a healthier alternative this no bake brownie cookie treat is for you. The ground up oatmeal provides you with some protein, which is better than the white flour that is in most baked brownies. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 2.5 cups medjool dates
  • 3 – 4 tsp espresso powder (optional)
  • 1 cup blended rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup almonds
  • 1/4 cup raw cacao powder
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 4 tbsp maple syrup
  • water if needed to make stickier

Additional Ingredients

  • raw vegan chocolate chips
  • shredded raw coconut
  • vanilla bean

Directions

Add all ingredients in a food processor or mash by hand. Roll into balls, which you can then roll in carob, cacao powder, or raw shredded coconut for extra flavour if you prefer. Press the balls down so they are cookie shaped and press one raw almond in the top.
