raw-energy-balls

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoon  raw cacao powder
  • 2 tablespoon raw carob powder
  • 2 tablespoon raw cacao nibs (more if desired)
  • 1 cup dates
  • 1/2 ground almonds
  • 1/4 cup walnuts
  • water if it needs to be stickier (as needed)

Directions:

Add all ingredients in a food processor or mash by hand. Roll into balls, which you can then roll in carob, cacao powder, or raw shredded coconut for extra flavour if you prefer.

 

Additional Optional Ingredients:

  • raisins
  • shredded raw coconut
  • more nuts
  • vanilla bean
  • cayenne pepper for some spice
