This is a super simple and tasty recipe that is ideal for using as a dip for chips or crackers or even adding to enhance a  salad. It takes about 10 minutes to make an is a healthy addition to any meal or a lovely side dish. Please enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1 large ripe avocado (Some people like to fully mash their avocado, but I like to dice them into bite-sized pieces)
  • 1 cup grape tomatoes (cut in half)
  • 1 stalk chopped green onions
  • 1 tbsp of chopped cilantro
  • juice of half a lime or lemon
  • 1 tsp of garlic powder (or 1 clove of fresh garlic)
  • 1/2 tsp cumin (more depending on taste)
  • salt and pepper to taste

If you like your food spicier, add your favourite hot sauce, or even add some cayenne to the guacamole.

Directions

  1. Put first 7 ingredients in a bowl and with two forks, mash and blend ingredients together.
  2. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Serve over top a salad of delicious greens, or serve with your favourite crackers.
