baked-banana-chips

Who doesn’t love banana chips! Yum. Just to note the lemon juice actually prevents then from burning. You can also use orange juice.

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp sea salt (optional)
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp water
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
  • 5 ripe bananas (or more)

Directions:

  • Spray baking sheet (bananas get sticky!)
  • Slice bananas about  1/8-inch thick
  • Dip bananas in lemon juice, water and vanilla then put on baking sheet
  • Sprinkle salt or and cinnamon on bananas
  • Bake at 250 degrees Fahrenheit for 1 hour
  • Then turn the chips and bake for another 45 to 60 minutes
